About Afriverse Capital
We operate at the intersection of deep operational knowledge and disciplined investment structuring — originating deals that most sponsors never see, and building them into opportunities that perform. We are founder-led, Africa-focused, and built for the long term. Our deal-by-deal model gives investors selective, high-conviction exposure to African upstream assets without the constraints of a traditional blind-pool fund. We are currently building our track record ahead of a committed Fund I, targeted for 2028–2030.
What We Invest In
We target minority equity farm-ins and asset acquisitions in proven and producing upstream oil and gas opportunities across sub-Saharan Africa. Our focus markets — Nigeria, Uganda, Mozambique, and Namibia — represent some of the continent's most significant hydrocarbon development corridors. We bring origination access, regulatory relationships, and operational understanding that pure financial investors cannot replicate.
Africa holds some of the world's most significant underdeveloped gold resources. We target upstream equity participation in gold mining assets across West and East Africa, focusing on plays with credible geology, clear development pathways, and strong return potential. Our approach combines rigorous technical screening with on-the-ground market intelligence built over decades of African resource sector experience.
